Vancouver’s most well known veg restaurant, The Naam, reminds me of a vegetarian Denny’s. It’s a favourite spot for a late night snack and is one of the first places offering the soy free, dairy free Daiya Cheese.

The Veggie Tommy (veganized)

The Veggie Tommy Burrito at Steamrollers in Vancouver is sensational. It is a spinach tortilla filled with rice, black beans & carrots covered with the most amazingly delicious tomatillo sauce. To veganize, I replace the dairy with guacamole. I like to add salsa to the inside as well. It is a dish that I have been relishing for many years…several times a week!
