I Love Ellen

My favourite famous person is Ellen…and that was even before she went vegan. I was just checking out her website and noticed she has a great page of vegan inspiration.

On today’s show, Ellen’s personal chef Roberto Martin cooks a vegan Field Roast with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. (Oooh, a personal chef sounds dreamy!!) Here’s the video clip…

She’s cool but it’s super hypocritical of her to be a spokesperson for Cover Girl who are owned by Procter and Gamble who are one of the worst companies for animal testing! Lame.

Wow, I didn’t know Ellen was Vegan! That’s awesome! Yes, you definitely know you’ve “made it” when you can hire your own personal chef.

Lorra — I think you raise a valid point, but Ellen seems to be such a genuinely compassionate human being and is doing a lot to help animals and promote veganism. Who knows, perhaps with her celebrity status she may even bring about change in the way this company does their testing.

Hopefully she will have some influence on that. I am assuming she didn’t know this when she signed her contract.

I am always so entertained by Ellen. She cracks me up. I’m glad she’s promoting veganism on her show. The recipes are very simple too.
