Interesting. I like the addition of the dates.

I need to buy some lucuma powder! I’ve never had it before, and this looks so yummy!

This looks delicous! I will give this a try soon. I just need to purchase some Lucuma power. Would Maca powder be okay? Just wondering, because I already have some of that.

    You’re making me hungry! :)

    Take care!

Thanks for your comments, ladies!! :)

Evelyn — I would definitely get some lucuma! You will love it.

mmm this looks great! I just loooove sweet and salty together!!

First I’ve heard of Lucuma powder. Can’t wait to try it!

I have REALLY been wanting to try the Lucuma powder! This looks so delicious!

Yep. I can see how you might get hooked on this treat!

Sweet and salty… you’re my kind of girl!! You know, I have completely looked at my shopping list in a new light since I started coming to your site :) I’m missing the powder and dates for this recipe, but this is another one I will try.

    Have a beautiful day!

Is a scavenger hunt for Lucuma required or can I get it at Whole Foods? =)
Looks mapley delicious, love sweet sticky dates. Thank you for sharing.

Diana — That makes me happy! Thank you.

Kim — I purchase the Navitas Naturals Lucuma Powder at Body Energy Club in Vancouver. Some of the organic grocery/health food stores should carry it, but I didn’t notice it at Whole Foods in Vancouver. I’m sure there are several places on Commercial Drive that will carry this though! ;) And it can be ordered online at http://www.navitasnaturals.com/.

YUM! I can’t wait to make this one :)

This looks amazing! Is there anything that can be substitued for Lucuma powder if I can’t find it?

kim g. – Thank you! When I’ve been out of lucuma, I’ve added the splash of vanilla and it’s a yummy treat just like that too.

I love how you use the dates to sweeten. Smart. And your photos are beautiful!! I really hope you will submit this recipe and more to my new “vegan finds” site:
